About Me, Larry L. Lambeth
I’m Larry L. Lambeth, the owner of L3 Custom Wood Designs. I’ve always had a love for woodworking, sparked by my father’s skill in carving. Though I didn’t have the patience to learn as a child, my passion for working with wood never left me. After retiring from a 35-year career behind a desk, I finally created the woodworking shop I had always dreamed of. Today, that dream fuels every handcrafted piece I create with pride.
Woodworking Journey
My journey really took off when I visited my son Josh in Phoenix and saw his CNC machine in action. I was fascinated by its potential and, with help from my sons, I set up my own workshop. I started creating wooden crosses, bowls, and other pieces, and soon people were asking to buy them. Now, I’m always looking for new ideas and challenges, and I’m excited to see where my craft takes me next.
